When I joined Mombly d.o.o. through the Employment Service, I started out as a Computer Operator.
Step by step, I took on more responsibilities: System Administration, Web Design, UX, Google Analytics & Ads, and even broader digitalization projects.

Over two years, I grew into the role of IT Manager, leading projects that connected IT, marketing, and sales into one growth system.
I was entrusted with Manager-level responsibilities (without the official contract), and after two years of achievements, I decided to move on — proud of the results we achieved together.

Solution Overview

My work at Mombly focused on three pillars:

Data-driven marketing → Advanced tracking with Google Analytics & GTM, custom dashboards, and conversion funnels. Most of it was built from paid plugins and tailored setups.
Automation workflows → Automated reporting, digitalization of internal processes (custom ERP + accounting), customer journey dashboards, and lead generation supported by a call center in Serbia, LinkedIn web scraping, and a custom CRM.
eCommerce platform optimization → Scaling WordPress / WooCommerce, improving UX, SEO, and hosting performance.

From Solo to Team

Started as a one-man IT band — later expanded the team with two new hires for digital marketing and system administration.

Scalable Platforms

Scaled WooCommerce for high-traffic campaigns, working on multiple eCommerce brands:

  • snailpapers.com (custom rolling papers → later migrated to Shopify)
  • growshop.si / growshop.hr (gardening tools)
  • snailseeds.com (cannabis seeds)

Proposed innovative paid channels, including bold experiments like Pornhub Ads for Snailpapers.

These results proved how much growth can happen when IT and marketing operate as one system — fast, data-driven, and creative.
